Pegge Bernecker Erkeneff: An author, editor, retreat & workshop leader, I offer spiritual care through the age old practice of spiritual direction. Home is on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, USA. A wild and sturdy place, Alaska is a blend of landscapes where I spent significant time: Southern California beaches & the front range of Northern Colorado. I value substance and transparency, poetry and rhythm, stories of courage, humor, wilderness, and the human spirit. Nature, spirituality, play, prayer, and service often show up in my writing and blogs. Dozens of my working years were spent with teens and college students leading retreats, offering leadership programs, and helping people make meaning from whatever life brings. I'm a rather simple person, but my "yes" has brought many extraordinary opportunities and people into my life.
